Instrumentation and Control CSU Engineer
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Shall have hands on pre-commissioning and commissioning experience with Distributed Control System, Profibus/Foundation Fieldbus System, Instrumented Protective System/Safety Instrumented System, Fire and Gas System, various types of analyzers, turbine generators, turbine compressors, instrument air compressors and dryers, heat exchangers, fuel gas systems, flare system, chemical injection systems, field devices expert experience and well tie-in and bean-up process
Shall have experience and involvement in pre-commissioning, commissioning, initial flow/start up and handover of Fiscal and Allocation Metering Systems, Wet Gas Venturi Metering System, Compact Prover and Analysers and Auto-Sampling System
Shall be involved from fabrication, installation, commissioning, testing and handover including ensuring PETRONAS approvals for the metering systems
Shall have hands on experience on process control system, safety system, fire and gas system as well as metering system
Shall have hands on experience in calibrating field instruments with minimal supervision or vendor assistance
Shall have experience in networking, familiar with latest PACO development, and provide comments during design, fabrication yard phase
Shall have hands on experience on process control system, safety system, fire and gas system as well as metering system
Shall be able to perform interface test of all the facility, conduct logic test and verify effect based on cause & effect/safe chart/matrix
Must be knowledgeable in using instrumentation testing and commissioning tools and equipment
Preferably Senior with Commissioning, Start-up, Operation, Maintenance and Engineering Experience
Shall be well versed in the PETRONAS Procedure & Guideline for Upstream Activities (PPGUA), the Measurement, Testing, Allocation & Balancing (MTAB) procedure, the relevant Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) terms, the relevant Production Sharing Contract terms and requirements, as well as the applicable local legislative requirements
Experience in managing various stakeholders, including PETRONAS and SIRIM in metering commissioning and validation
Able to supervise and manage a site team or a team instrument technicians and act as Lead Commissioning Engineer (LCE) for short period while the LCE is absent
Must have sound knowledge in Completion Management System (CMS)
Experience & Education
Bachelor of Engineering / Science in Instrumentation / Control & Automation / Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent OR UK City and Guild Level 5 or equivalent OR BTECH Higher National Diploma (HND) Level 5 or equivalent
Offshore / onshore project fabrication, testing and commissioning, Hook Up and Commissioning (HUC) in oil and gas or power plant projects
Facility / Plant start-up and handover in oil and gas projects
Shall have experience and involvement in pre-commissioning, commissioning of Fiscal and Allocation Metering Systems, Wet Gas Venturi Metering System, MPFM metering, Compact Prover and Analyzers and Auto-Sampling System
