Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • To delineate all commissioning test pack boundaries.

  • Input to the design review sufficient to ensure they meet the needs of the commissioning team.

  • To ensure that the commissioning planning is prepared in detail following the priorities.

  • To ensure that the Mechanically complete systems are properly handed over to the Onshore Commissioning Team and are fully pre-commissioned as far as practical and that the systems are then fully onshore commissioned as far as possible without the use of live hydrocarbons.

  • To carry out the necessary retesting offshore plus to complete the commissioning offshore including offshore start up and commissioning with live hydrocarbons and to ensure the systems are adequately performance tested.

  • To ensure a full suite of pre-commissioning and commissioning and start up procedures are prepared.

  • To ensure that detailed commissioning test procedures are provided for all systems.

  • To ensure that a set of handover dossiers are prepared.

  • To ensure the systems are mechanically complete and pre-commissioned in sufficient time to meet the stated objectives.

  • To ensure that first fills are available when required.

  • To ensure that all required vendor specialists are available to support commissioning.

  • To ensure that start up and commissioning spares are available to support the commissioning.

  • To interface with the pre-operations team to ensure a smooth handover and acceptance of the systems by Operations.

  • To ensure all Class requirements are met.

Experience & Education

  • Maximum age 50 years of age.

  • Must have high degree of physical fitness.

  • Have (min 25 years) working experience in Oil & gas related Commissioning, of which 15 years must be on offshore facilities and 5 years of which must be on FPSO/FSOs.

  • Have at least 10 years experience in the management of commissioning teams, with a strong emphasis on Commissioning Management and Organization.

  • Have worked in S.E.A. for at least 5 years.

  • Extensive experience in the preparation of commissioning procedures.

  • Extensive experience in the generation of CTPs.

  • Shall have a marine or process or instrumentation & control background.

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.

  • Selection of manpower, qualification and management
