Electrical CSU Engineer
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Shall have hands on pre-commissioning and commissioning experience with High and Low Voltage Switchgears, Motor Control Center and Distribution Boards, UPS and Battery Chargers, Power Generators, Power Transformers, emergency diesel generators, instrument air compressors, heat exchangers, pedestal crane, chemical injection systems, Variable speed drive (VSD) for pump control system, Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) system
Shall have hands on experience in Hi-pot test with minimal supervision or vendor assistance
Shall be able to perform interface test of electrical system (IMCS) with control system and verify/ensure that information presented at DCS is correct
Shall have sound grounding experience and be able to develop black start-up plan for offshore and onshore execution
Experience in motor/pump Uncouple run test and system MRT test
Must be knowledgeable in using electrical testing and commissioning tools and equipment
Knowledge for the Electrical Safety Rules
Preferably Senior with Commissioning, Start-up, Operation, Maintenance and Engineering Experience
Possess a Certified High Voltage Chargeman B0/H1 or low voltage generation chargeman Competency from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia (Energy Commission) or Sarawak Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU), will be an added advantage
Shall have added advantage to have hands on commissioning experience in solar power generation system, Micro Turbine Generator System, Power Management System (PMS) and Load Shedding System
Able to supervise and manage a site team or a team of commissioning Electricians and act as Lead Commissioning Engineer (LCE) for short period while the LCE is absent
Must have sound knowledge in Completion Management System (CMS)
Must have experience undertake High Voltage switching (6.6 and 11 KV) commissioning work at any plant facilities
Experience & Education
Bachelor of Engineering / Science in Electrical / Electronic Engineering OR UK City and Guild Level 5 or equivalent OR BTECH Higher National Diploma (HND) Level 5 or equivalent
Offshore / onshore project fabrication, testing and commissioning, Hook Up and Commissioning (HUC) in oil and gas or power plant projects
Facility / Plant start-up and handover in oil and gas projects
