Mechanical (Static Equipment/Piping) CSU Engineer
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Shall have hands on pre-commissioning and commissioning experience with static equipment (tanks/pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air/gas coolers, heat recovery systems, HVAC systems, material handling equipment (Monorail hoist)
Shall be familiar with piping system pre-commissioning works, e.g. flushing/cleaning, hydro testing, P&ID line walk, reinstatement leak test, etc. Shall be able to prepare hydro test and reinstatement leak test procedures/packages and spading/isolation plans and have hands on experience in leading reinstatement leak test works, experience in using Nitrogen/ Helium method is preferred
Shall have working experience in Onshore Gas Plant or Petrochemical with AGRU / AGEU / SRU / TOX unit, clause process and liquid Sulphur process
Shall have working experience in Onshore Plant or Petrochemical plant with boiler system and HP/LP steam distribution lines pre-commissioning/commissioning/operation
Post experience in steam system blowing
Post experience in boiler‘s refractory dry-out work
Knowledge in facility/plant boiler system and shipping boiler system taking into account commissioning, start-up, HSSE & operational requirements
Good to have some knowledge in Completion Management System (CMS)
Mature, well organized and can work under minimum supervision
Skill in preparing mechanical test run procedures, FAT, SAT and have hands on experience in leading mechanical test run at site
Knowledge in using of mechanical testing and commissioning tools and equipment
Familiar with international standard such as API for Piping/Vessels, ASME/ANSI Codes and etc.
Able to work on PEFS, UEFS, Isometric drawings and preparation for the commissioning system boundaries drawings
Preferably Senior with Commissioning, Start-up, Operation, Maintenance and Engineering Experience
Additional experience in rotating equipment (pumps, turbine compressors, turbine generator, instrument air compressors and dryers, chemical injection etc.) and performing the rotating system MRT test
Knowledge in facility/plant process control, taking into account commissioning, start-up, HSSE & operational requirements
Able to supervise and manage a site team or a team of mechanical commissioning technicians/millwrights and act as Lead Commissioning Engineer (LCE) for short period while the LCE is absent
Must have sound knowledge in Completion Management System (CMS)
Experience & Education
Bachelor of Engineering / Science in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent
Shall possess the Certified Grade 1 or 2 Steam Engineer Certification from DOSH or equivalent OR UK City and Guild Level 5 or equivalent OR BTECH Higher National Diploma (HND) Level 5 or equivalent
