BlueFin personnel are trained in particulate counting standards such as NAS 1638, ISO 4406 and SAE 4059 rev. D and E.

BlueFin maintains the mechanical assets required for the majority of operator’s filtration needs. From offshore pipeline abandonments and produced overboard water compliance, to onshore hydrotest water treatment and fluid handling, our team understands the full lifecycle approach to these scopes.

Our technical range follows the Umbilical life cycle, starting with initial testing at the manufacturer’s yard, monitoring during installation, and commissioning prior to system start-up, to critical maintenance services for flow assurance remediation and fluid cleanliness, and ending with final decommissioning of the umbilical system.

Multiple stage pneumatic pressure units

BlueFin manifold systems are designed for high pressure, multiple line flushing and pressure testing.

Our bulk filtration unit is capable of NAS filtration and flushing of Bulk fluids with little to no pressure and can handle up to 125 GPM with 1-micron filter.

Hydrostatic and Pneumatic pressure testing is an accepted system integrity assessment practice for all industrial operators. Scopes of work involving pressure testing require system knowledge and competent field execution in order to deliver safe, compliant system function.

Our Pneumatic Leak Testing services extend to commissioning, product evacuation, maintenance shutdown, leak testing, and general pigging operations.

Hydrostatic pressure testing remains an industry standard pre-commissioning and commissioning practice that is a heavily regulated requirement for all branches of the oil and gas industry.

ElastiPig is a highly malleable, elastomer-solid pig that exerts minimal outwards pressure when transitioning flowlines. It creates 100% surface area contact with the pipe wall, providing excellent sealing capabilities. ElastiPigs are useful when used alone or in combination with mechanical pigs, pipeline gels and/or chemicals.

LiquiGel® pigs are reliable and superior alternatives for pipeline and process operators. Our “unstickable” pig gel technology demonstrates safe performance when measured against pipeline integrity concerns, or where multi-diameter, barriers to entry and exit, and multi-stage pigging challenges exists.
