Extended Reach Drilling (ERD)
3 Day Course
Participants will develop the analytical skills and practical knowledge needed to plan, evaluate, and execute ERD wells safely and efficiently.
This three-day course delivers an advanced technical foundation in Extended Reach Drilling. This course is designed for drilling engineers and well planners tackling the complex challenges of high displacement wellbore construction.
Core topics include torque and drag modeling, trajectory optimization, hydraulics, ECD management, drill string mechanics and friction reduction technologies, alongside cementing challenges, and wellbore stability.
