Khalid Hasan, P.E., is a tubular design specialist with more than 22 years of experience supporting complex well design in both Offshore & Onshore environment. He has designed numerous deepwater, HPHT wells around the world. His career includes over 14 years with Hess Corporation as a tubular design Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Technical Authority (TA). He has more than 8 years as a drilling engineering consultant with Blade Energy Partners.
He has conducted casing and tubing design analysis, well integrity assessments, root cause failure investigations, stimulation design, casing wear estimate, worst-case discharge modeling, and T&D analysis for major projects in the Gulf of America, Bakken, North Sea, Middle East, Brazil, and Southeast Asia. Khalid is also the author of the Hess Casing & Tubing Design Standard and is recognized for his expertise in solving complex well design and integrity challenges for high-risk environments.
