I would like to Recognize Clay Sparks for his tremendous work. (and the fact that he did it calmly and always with a smile). Clay came to the project under a very difficult situation where we needed him to develop a more “fit-for-purpose” commissioning plan; along with finding ways to reduce cost. Working on his own most of the time, with very little guidance and assistance from the Katmai team, he was able to put together the systems, procedures, and plans that were more in line with my expectations. Once he got offshore he was able to find further opportunities for improvement. He also found a way to bring cohesion to the various groups; and get the contractors to work better together with each other. He was a big help in making the Commissioning effort a success.

The team is open-minded and always open to constructive criticism and responsive to project needs/requests. I look forward to working with the GATE Team for the remainder of the project. The team is always very responsive to request appropriate with the degree of urgency for the task. Although we have not begun executing commissioning activities, the quality of the planning and procedures produced by the team has met or exceeded the expectations of BP.

Responsiveness to multiple and numerous BP requests was handled professionally. Forms and process was smooth, and nothing was missed out. [The] process aligns with both a small operators requirements and easily transfers to a majors. Looking forward to the next project.
