This session covers advanced topics in casing and tubing design. The course is structured such that upon completion, participants should have confidence in developing a safe and cost-effective tubular stress design for an offshore well.
The intended audience is for senior engineers and operations personnel who are involved with well design and planning operations, who have a fundamental understanding of casing and tubing design and are in interested in diving deeper into tubular stress mechanics, design methodology, thermal modeling of production operation, annular pressure building and APB mitigation strategies.
Participants will learn the advanced casing design methodology and also complete exercises with WELLCAT™ software.
