Temperature Shutdown Skid
Product Description
The Temperature Shutdown Skid is a self-contained unit designed to monitor downstream nitrogen temperature and automatically shut down the pump if temperatures exceed or fall below preset limits.
Typical liquid pumper discharge temperatures are set to 70°F under normal operating conditions allowing the gaseous nitrogen entering the client’s system to be introduced at room temperature. This setpoint is adjustable to meet the client’s material needs. If this control were to fail, the client’s systems are protected by this BlueFin-provided low temperature shutdown skid, which stops the triplex pump thereby forcing a shutdown of gaseous nitrogen entering the system.
The temperature skid can be set between 32°F and 212°F to meet the needs of the client’s assets.
It connects directly to standard nitrogen pumping equipment and helps protect pumps, pipelines, and associated assets from temperature-related damage during operations.
Benefits & Applications
Connects directly to nitrogen pump unit’s over pressure skid connection.
Easy to operate with adjustable high/low temperature controls which will shut down the triplex pump.
This unit can be connected to existing units or integrated into a new build design.
